Certificate for Leaders
The Certificate for Leaders is a joint program offered by AVT Business School and the International University of Monaco. It provides a unqiue opportunity for leaders to study leadership at MBA level from their office or home and at a pace which suits both work and family life.
We have put together this certificate using interactive education, case-studies and video lectures developed by Harvard Business School Publishing, using the best faculty from Harvard Business School.
You may continue on the Certified Executive Scholar program after successful completion of the Certificate for Leaders.
The Certificate for Leaders program commences four times a year: January 6, March 31, August 11 and October 27.

You will receive certificates from Harvard Business School Publishing as well as from AVT Business School and the International University of Monaco.
The program duration is three months part-time and is divided into three parts. The participants are expected to use a total of 75 hours on the whole program. The program level is similar to that taught on an MBA program.
Before and after Part 1 (e-learning) you will have a 1-hour Skype session with one of the AVT Leadership professors. The first session will be an orientation session that will prepare you for the modules and how to build your personal development plan as you work with the online e-learning. The second session will be a wrap-up session where you discuss your learning and prepare yourself for the three video lectures and subsequently writing the project paper.
Part 1: E-Learning Modules (5 weeks / 30 hours).
Part 2: Faculty Lectures (3 weeks / 15 hours).
Part 3: Project (5 weeks / 30 hours).
As the final part of the program Professor Francis J. Aguilar has been preparing a project assignment, which is assigned around a case from Harvard Business School. Here you will have to solve a problem, making decisions and establish a base of knowledge about the case.
Prepare to be both challenged and surprised - and to learn a lot - even if you are a seasoned leader who feels confident in your leadership.

The E-learning Modules in Part 1 are also part of the CBA General Management module, and if you have already taken the Certificate for Leaders and later decide to take a CBA you will of course not have to re-take the E-learning Modules.
