The Globally Responsible Leadership MBA

The AVT Executive MBA builds on the successful completion of the CBA program.

The AVT MBA Program is an exciting journey in understanding the roles of the general manager and the leader in a globalizing world. The theme of the AVT MBA is "Responsible Leadership in a Globalizing World," which is inspired by the GRLI and PRME concepts.

Besides the traditional MBA topics such as e.g. Finance and Strategy, we will work with issues of responsible leadership, both in terms of corporate social responsibility, ethics, cross cultural management and sustaniable business.

The MBA class of 2009 (which launched in September 2008) was supported by Grundfos acting as "live case" throughout the MBA program. Read more about this exciting GRLI Learning Action here.

The MBA class of 2010, which started in September 2009, is working on a similar project with Carlsberg Group, and MBA 2011 will work with LEGO.

We will have separate classes on these issues of globalization, but each course has been amended to the theme too - e.g. in Finance you will also get to understand the mechanics of the Carbon Trading schemes.

On the study tour we visit and work Chinese managers in Shanghai. We study live cases which managers from companies with global challenges bring to the MBA class to discuss. The MBA is a unique experience, which you will share with a group of highly skilled and motivated peers.

On the MBA program you dig deeper into the various management topics and further develop your skills as a leader and general manager.

The Executive MBA classes at AVT have a maximum of 45 participants. All participants must have completed their CBA successfully within the previous three years.
