Competition & Strategy II
The Competition & Strategy II course is the continuation of Competition & Strategy I. This module brings together all the pieces of the curriculum by using a computer-based simulation to integrate strategic thinking and cross-functional management in an intensely competitive business environment.
The Protean Strategist is a state-of-the-art business simulation that creates a dynamic, market-driven business environment where customer needs evolve, market segments shift, competitors emerge, technologies advance, and company fortunes rise or fall – depending on the strategic choices made by the competing management teams.
The simulation captures the true intensity of real competitive forces, highlighting the management challenges of doing business in a fast-changing marketplace. Simulation teams are asked to analyze their unique situation, identify opportunities, create business strategies, apply new concepts, practice critical management skills – and are encouraged to observe their team and individual performance along the way. You and your fellow participants will experience years of simulated business activity in only hours and days—and receive immediate feedback on your progress.
