Adam V. Reed, Ph.D.
Adam is Associate Professor of Finance at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina. His main areas of research are short selling, equity lending, capital markets and mutual funds. He has been named one of “World best 40 Business-School Professors under the age of 40” by Poets & Quants and Fortune in 2011.
He has spoken at conferences hosted by organizations across the United States and around the world, including for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, National Bureau of Economic Research, Securities and Exchange Commission, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, New York Federal Reserve, Mellon Bank, Pension Investment Association of Canada, Financial Management Association, European Finance Association and the American Finance Association.
At AVT Business School he teaches finance at the MBA.
