Andrew W. Shogan, Ph.D.

Andy is Professor of Operations and Information Technology Management. He has taught at business schools all over the world, but primarily at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, where he also served as the Associate Dean for Instruction for 17 years. At the Haas School, Andy has received 3 awards for teaching excellence and has also received the Chancellor’s Distinguished Service Award for his service to both Haas and the University. He has published numerous articles and research publications, including a Management Science textbook.

Andy has taught courses and given lectures in the United States, France, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Mexico, and Jamaica. In 1988, his textbook Management Science was published by Prentice-Hall.

At AVT Business School, Andy teaches Quantitative Analysis in the MBA.
