David Vogel, Ph.D.

David is Professor of Business Ethics at Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. He is also Editor of the California Management Review. He is considered one of the leading figures within CSR research and publications in the world. He has published several textbooks.

Last year David received the Aspen Institute’s Faculty Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement in recognition of his seminal work in the field of CSR. Vogel was selected from more than 30 nominees for the award, which has been called the “Oscars of the business school world” by Financial Times. The Aspen Institute is a Washington, DC-based educational and policy studies institute. His book, The Market for Virtue: the Potential and Limits of Corporate Responsibility, has been translated in French, Korean and Japanese and received the best book award from the Social Issues in Management division of the Academy of Management in 2008.

At AVT Business School David teaches Business Ethics at the MBA and Advanced Corporate Social Responsibility at the AMP.
