Short Online Programs

The Short Online Programs series is an exciting alternative or addition to the leadership topics taught in the Certificate for Leaders and CBA programs. You will experience state-of-the-art e-learning via some of the best online learning and resources from Harvard Business School Publishing. These materials provide you with valuable insights on five important aspects of modern leadership.

Harvard Business School Publishing e-learning programs combine the world’s leading experts with scalable internet technology to bring powerful ideas and tools to the desktops of executives and managers around the world.

 

Admission procedure

You may apply for single modules or complete at least four modules and get the title of “Certified Executive Scholar”.

 

Course structure

The modules may be taken in any order and at your own speed. But you must complete at least four of the modules within 3 years to be awarded the Certified Executive Scholar in Leadership diploma.

Distance Learning and Project Paper

Each of the modules requires 15 or 20 hours of distance learning over the internet. The program is taught at the same level as a MBA program.

As part of each module, you will also have a Skype session of 1 hour with one of the AVT professors – discussing the module and preparing yourself for writing the project paper.

After you have completed the e-learning module content, you will be asked to write a project paper based on a case relating to the module topic.
